Winner of the Monash Prize Essay Writing Competition 2014

        The Monash Prize 2014, an essay writing competition  organised by Monash University and AUG Student Services, was held in August 2014 and was open to students from Form 5, Senior Middle Two and Senior Middle Three in Klang Valley. Students were allowed to choose from a variety of topics to write on regarding the different majors available at Monash University, such as Information Technology, Arts and Education. Three students from Hin Hua High School Klang took part in this writing competition: Choo Mern Pye (S2 Chicago), Tan Yi Sheng (S3 Adelaide) and Wee Tze Jieh (S3 Canberra). The prize was finally awarded to Wee Tze Jieh, who received a certificate and an iPad for his essay on the importance of doing a degree in Information Technology in our current times.
