Singing Our Hearts Out with Self-composed Lyrics Song Fest Competition 2018 02

Ms. Wendy Heng Wei Chian
 (English Language Teacher )

As a new teacher at Hin Hua High School, I guess I am lucky enough to be able to sail as a team withmy J3 Chicago and J3 Ottawa students. It is truly an honour for me to witness and celebrate their success in 2018 Song Fest competition. Being honest, the journey towards their accomplishment was not easy. It was my first Song Fest competition but for them, it was their last. I knew we required more time and effort than any other team. Despite all odds, our hard work ultimately led us to victory. I am thankful to the students who showed their trust and faith in me. It was all teamwork and I am glad to say we did it!

Choo Xuan Liang
(Best Conductor, J3 Chicago)

First, I would like to congratulate all teams for their fabulous performances during the Song Fest Competition 2018 . I am a person who is passionate about music. I am glad to be the best conductor in the competition. This is also our first time to be the champion in Song Fest Competition. Although we faced many kinds of difficulties while practising, we managed to work together as a team. We spent a lot of time practising. Lastly, I would like to thank Miss Wendy for her efforts in guiding us. We are grateful to her for giving us an opportunity to experience  all those memorable moments in J3 Chicago. GOGO CHICAGO!

Elynn Ong Jia Wen
 (J1 Champion Team)
When we heard that we won the first place, we were extremely happy! Mr. Dannie and the students of J1 Melbourne decided to share the prize money with students from J1 Los Angeles who won the third place. The journey with my friends from the beginning to the final performance was filled with excitement. Mr. Dannie guided us along the way to help us out with our performance. It was one of the most unforgettable memories we have had  in Hin Hua so far.
