Words alone cannot describe how much you mean to us, Tan Sri. You have left in us a mammoth vacuum that cannot be filled by any other, and yet, we know, in our heart of hearts that we must carry on your dreams for Hin Hua High School, where your heart will continue to ‘live on.’ Your loving, kindness and generosity like that of a ‘Loving Father’ saturates our thoughts with each passing day when we think upon you. No matter the distance and space between us, we will continue to bear witness and celebrate YOU every time we reminisce your words and works of inspiration and encouragement in the opportunities you have built for us. In the words of a famed song, we echo with one voice this dedication that ‘Be it far or near, Tan Sri, your love will be forever remembered and etched in our hearts.’ We miss you!

My heart sank when I heard of your passing
You who have been the candle
that has lit up my most wretched and darkest night
with your bright and glorious light.
You who brought smiles to my sad gloomy lips
You who brought sparkle to my tear-shed eyes
You who brought joy to my helpless heart
You who were the wind beneath my feeble wings
Always there when I needed you the most.
I look up at the dark skies for answers
as to why you have to go so soon
My sinking heart is drowning ……
Unable to recover.
There is so much …… so much more
Still so much to be done
But alas, with a heavy heart
We have to let you go
Back to our creator who loves you more
Leaving us with the memories
Good memories
Great memories
Always ……
Forever.
